TES Industrial Systems has received the order from Dyckerhoff<\/a> Beton Neuwied, Germany, to renew the control system of their grab crane.<\/p>\n\n

For the refurbishment of the control system we have carried out the following activities:<\/p>\n\n

We have equipped all movements with new slipring motors contactors. In addition to that, we have replaced the old control system with a Siemens S1500 PLC with I\/O stations. <\/p>\n\n

Furthermore, we have expanded the hoisting and closing motors with encoder signal feedback, this replaces the old Siemens Simomat-K system. <\/p>\n\n

During the process, all cabling was left in place. As a result of that we have recreated the new panels very accurately. This means that the old cabling could be properly reconnected. \n<\/p>\n\n

The new control systems have been tested extensively in our workshop to keep the lead time as short as possible. <\/p>\n\n
