Technician Electrical Engineering

Do you like to design and develop technical installations? Both the Hardware of the installation itself, and the Software that ensures that everything runs? Would you like to be involved in assembly engineering projects from A to Z? From elaborating a working drawing in Autocad to the physical commissioning? And don’t you turn your hand around for any small repairs? Then we are looking for you as our new colleague at our TES Industrial Systems location in Beverwijk.

Do you have work experience in assembly & engineering of electrical installations? Do you live in the Beverwijk region and have you, for example, completed the Middle Management Engineering Electrical Engineering course? Do you like working in Industry? And are you open to hard work with room for fun every now and then? Then we would like to get in touch with you.

What are you going to do?

As an Engineer / Draftsman, you provide the complete elaboration of a concept of simple and more complex technical installations in the preparatory phase. Independently or under the guidance of your colleague Engineer or Project Leader. The result of your work is a file with design, technical specifications and drawings of the installation to be constructed.

You are also (jointly) responsible for the design and development of software for various installations. You provide supporting documents for software and commissioning. And give you technical support if requested.


  • Design and develop technical installations;
  • Making calculations relating to installations;
  • Elaboration of the design and working drawings;
  • Be responsible for a correct coherence between the various documents (schematic, cable plan, cable list and parts list);
  • Analyzing bottlenecks for the implementation of the project in the drawings;
  • Revision of drawings;
  • Timely delivery of design data;
  • Compiling the workbooks;


  • Designing and developing Software for technical installations (PLC, HMI, frequency converter, relay, etc.);
  • Checking, verifying and approving the individual partial designs and the entire design;
  • Performing the software work within the set time standard;
  • Prepare necessary development and test documents;
  • Technical support in the implementation of a project;
  • Transferring an installation to a customer or end user;


  • Supervise all employees who assist with testing and commissioning;
  • Coordination of the work with the project leader;
  • Participate in work meetings;
  • Making operating manuals;
  • Keeping professional knowledge up-to-date;
  • Working according to the regulations in the field of safety, health and the environment;
  • You are a real TES ambassador and a great colleague!

Together with your colleagues, we take care of all installation and repair work of electrical installations occurring at the customer. Our office is located on a large industrial site and we have an open and informal working atmosphere here. And of course we use the motto Safety First!

What do we ask of you?

  • Relevant training in Electrical Engineering;
  • NEN 3140; preferably Certificate STIPEL VP, or willing to get it and VCA (-VOL)
  • Driving license B with own transport or living within cycling distance;
  • Know how to tackle and have no fear of heights;
  • Aerial work platform certificate, or willing to obtain it;
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and/or overtime;
  • After the training period, participate in a consignment service;
  • Speak and write Dutch well;
  • That you are open for fun and enjoy going to work!
